About me: A UX designer with a background in cognitive ergonomics and a quiet obsession with clarity. Over the past few years, I’ve worked across complex journeys, internal tools, and service design challenges, often where things are a bit messy and need structure, or where teams need help turning intention into something real.
Approach: Calm, collaborative, and grounded in clarity. I enjoy working closely with product owners, BAs, content designers, and developers to get the details right.
I know that process shifts depending on the team, the client, and the time constraints, and I’m comfortable adapting to meet the challenge. I like working through the grey areas, figuring out what really matters, what’s possible, and what users actually need. My style is considered (maybe slightly over-thought, in the best way).

A broad and hands-on degree where I got to design and prototype physical products, from electronic cat flaps to atmospheric lighting and investigating the best way to relay information back to a driver.
After graduating, I joined AKQA, where I quickly picked up front-end development skills on the job. But I missed working with physical products, so I moved to Tesco, where I worked on fitness equipment, outdoor toys, camping gear, and tents. There, I collaborated closely with customers and suppliers to improve product safety and reduce returns.
Eventually, I found a way to combine both my product design background and my experience in development — becoming a UX designer. Since then, I’ve worked across a range of industries including eLearning, courier services, telecoms, real estate, entertainment, and insurance.
Away from the computer: Outside of work, I enjoy going round in circles, whether it’s watching motor racing (having competed in karts and cars), or being out on my road bike. I’ve also recently taken up surfing (more falling off than surfing), and when things slow down, I’m usually off on a hike, taking in the scenery with friends.
